With over 25 years of professional experience, Malay has a rich background in SaaS start-ups, management consulting, and transaction advisory. He has successfully led revenue functions and hyper-scaled revenue for software companies ranging from $1 Mn to over $300 Mn in ARR. His notable roles include Chief Growth Officer at LeadSquared, a CRM SaaS unicorn in India, and Chief Business Officer at Ai Palette.
Malay’s consulting career spans two decades with prestigious firms such as EY, Alvarez & Marsal, McKinsey, and Infosys Consulting, Inc. He has created significant value for clients in the technology sector by advising tech giants and high growth companies like Microsoft, Reliance Industries, Alibaba, Wipro, Harman, HP-Compaq etc on go-to-market (GTM) strategy, digital transformation, and transaction advisory. Malay holds an MBA in Finance and is also NISM certified Investment Advisor.
Based in Bangalore, Malay has a global and multi-cultural perspective, having lived and worked in various cities across US, Europe, MEA and SEA.
Outside of his professional life, Malay enjoys endurance running, vedic-astrology, and reading Indian epics like the Mahabharata.
